This training will take place in the board room at the Emerson location of the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library from 5:30-7 p.m. on Monday, August 25. About Your Training Leaders:
Meryl Clark has more than 15 years of public relations and journalism experience ranging from working at several newspapers and doing PR for a statewide labor union to her current role as a Senior Communications Coordinator for a nonprofit. Today, she writes weekly press releases, works closely with reporters and editors, and knows what it takes to get a story picked up by media outlets.
Eric Engle is Board President of Mid-Ohio Valley Climate Action, a climate and environmental nonprofit founded in 2015, and Chief Steward for Chapter 190 of the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU). Eric is a frequent contributor of op-Ed pieces to the Parkersburg News & Sentinel and Charleston Gazette-Mail that have been consistently published for over a decade. He has been a publishing Substack author since September 2023.
